Honeah Sohail Mangione is an intellectual property and data privacy attorney whose practice focuses on primarily counseling, prosecution, and litigation in connection with trademarks, copyrights, patents, and related legal fields. Honeah has represented a broad range of clients in IP, privacy, and related matters, including the Internet, e-commerce, media, apparel, retail, consumer products, software, and technology industries.

Honeah has performed all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and copyright prosecution before the United States Copyright Office. She has also successfully completed the requirements for CIPP/US designation in privacy law from the International Association for Privacy Professionals. 

Her litigation experience covers areas such as false advertising, trade dress infringement, domain names (UDRP), anti-counterfeiting, anti-cybersquatting, unfair competition, and patent and copyright infringement. Further, Honeah can counsel in transactional matters such as drafting, negotiating, and analyzing business and commercial contracts and can provide transactional expertise in intellectual property contracts, drafting website terms of use/service, and privacy policies. Her skills also include IP due diligence review as part of a merger or acquisition, drafting and negotiation of IP contracts, and opposition and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Honeah gained significant experience while working in both the pharmaceutical industry (Merck & Co) and academia (The Cancer Institute of New Jersey). She has a Master’s Degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Rutgers University, where her thesis focused on epigenetic modifications in breast cancer.
