It is with great enthusiasm that we congratulate our very own, Marco Gonzalez, who has been nominated to the Board of Directors for the NJ State Veterans Chamber of Commerce!
Gonzalez, who proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Aircraft Structural Specialist on the F-117A Stealth Fighter Project for Lockheed-Martin Corporation (Skunk Works Division), was the perfect candidate for the position. Throughout the course of his career, Marco has developed considerable experience leveraging his international experience with his military and technical background to assist clients ranging from start-ups to large corporations. He minimizes their risk and helps to achieve their business objectives with efficient service at all levels.
Additionally, Mr. Gonzalez’s work has also extended to representing clients in Latin America, including providing counseling and representation to entities in connection with licensed transactions under OFAC’s Cuban Asset Control Regulations (CACRs).
Marco practices in the areas of complex civil, compliance, environmental, and employment litigation, internal investigations, and white-collar defense. He counsels and defends clients in governmental compliance and enforcement proceedings from the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act to matters relating to the EEOC and New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination.
Prior to joining the NJ State Veterans Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Gonzalez is a past President and General Counsel of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, a 2012 graduate of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s Academy for Leadership and Inclusion Training, and serves as the Outside General Counsel of Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of NJ
While on the Board, Marco plans to assist the Veterans Chamber with their continued growth in service to the brave men and women across the State of NJ. Congratulations Marco!
