Matt Brennan brings extensive experience in legal and business matters for technology entrepreneurs, startups, and emerging growth companies, with a specific focus on the rapidly emerging fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Based in Los Angeles, Brennan is deeply ingrained in the thriving tech community known as “Silicon Beach.”

Prior to joining OGC Solutions®, Brennan served as the General Counsel of an AI and ML-focused startup in Los Angeles, where he played a pivotal role throughout the six-year lifecycle of the company. As a key member of the founding team, he oversaw all legal affairs, including formation, advising on business transactions, corporate finance, corporate governance, information security and privacy, human resources, intellectual property, and contract drafting and negotiation.

Brennan’s expertise spans various tech-focused legal and business matters. He has served as Assistant General Counsel for an international e-commerce tech startup operating in six countries in East Asia and as Senior Counsel for a popular e-commerce retailer. With a diverse background that includes working in the insurance sector and as a television news reporter and anchor, Brennan’s professional focus has since been on the technology sector since rejoining the Los Angeles legal community in 2007 during the internet, social media, and mobile boom.
